Miss Art of Teaching

I have a friend who I love to bits. She is my mentor and the kindest soul on this planet. When she used to work with me, I would often wonder to myself...'What did I do to deserve such a genuine friend/coworker in my life?' She has truly lifted my wellbeing up from being at the rock bottom to becoming a passionate and hardworking teacher (mirroring her work ethics). Although she has now retired from her job after 24 years of service to the Department of Education, she still thinks of the students every day. Yesterday, I cleaned out a few things from my house including a 'deer' head from TYPO. I purchased the small resin stag head around two years ago. I asked the friendly GA to nail it on the wall for me.  I'm not sure if I like the 'DONUT GIVE UP' words on the bottom. I've been letting students decorate my classroom as a 'reward'. Today, I asked three of the best students to help spray paint my $5 second hand drawer. I added some labels to the drawers to hide away the old sticker labels behind. Not the best colour combinations but I am running out of nice colour sprays. Above: Before photo
